In this week’s release we have added the option to pin a post, make posts only available in a group and fixed some bugs.
It is now possible to ‘pin’ a post in your community. When pinning a post this post will stay at the top of your Posts page and will also be the highlighted post on your Dashboard page in your community. You can pin a post by clicking the ‘Pin post’ button on a post detail page or you can do this on the create/update post page of your admin dashboard.
You can now set the visibility of your posts to only show up in a group. This means that the post will only be visible on the Group page and will be hidden on the Dashboard and Posts page in your community. This also means that all users can still see the post if they navigate to the post’s group page, even if they are not part of that group. The feature is available to admins and users of your community and can be set from the create/update post page.
- We have moved up the ‘Recently joined people’ section on the Dashboard page in your community to underneath the ‘Most recent posts’ section. This way your community users can see the most recently joined people easier without scrolling down the page too much.
- In some cases the ‘Registered’ date field was not showing up on the user detail page in your admin dashboard. This is now fixed.
